I did not trade today because as the Dow fell another 5% plus last night, I felt we were going to see a repeat the same pattern we have seen all week: a quite morning with a few signals that get stopped out and then the currency pairs come to life AFTER 12:00.
Well today was a little better than that with 3 good signals coming from GBP, EUR and CHF early in the session but accompanied by 3 poor signals from AUD, JPY and CAD. The profits were largely offset by losses and we would have walked away with a few pips. This week has been the worst performing week the trading model has ever seen so I am glad its over and given that we got 3 decent signals today, the prospects for next week are positive.
Next Thursday, November 27th, is Thanksgiving in the USA which means that markets will be quieter Wednesday thru Friday because traders in the US will be enjoying turkey, football and a well earned rest. Have a good weekend.
